Edgewave Systems is the evolution of a specialist UK engineering consultancy that has been delivering since 2006. What began as a solo practice [trading as Qytek Ltd] built a track record across FPGA, embedded, DSP and hardware work — and a base of clients who kept coming back.
Edgewave is the next chapter: the same engineering pedigree, now expanding — adding people, premises and capacity — to take on more, and larger, projects.
What we’re about
We’re specialists in complex computation at the edge: putting heavy processing onto small, low-power modules that work reliably, standalone or connected. The name captures it — serious compute, at the edge; real-time work, on the signal. It’s a capability that crosses markets, from video and audio to industrial automation and well beyond.
How we work
We’re hands-on and pragmatic. We’d rather understand your problem properly than sell you a process. We take real ownership of the awkward parts at the boundaries between disciplines, we communicate plainly, and we treat your confidentiality seriously — we work under NDA as standard.
